Batlow House was built in 1922 by a local businessman and his wife. The house is solid brick Federation/Californian bungalow.
Unlike many period houses this house was intact when we found it and many of the wonderful classical features including ornate high ceilings, art deco light fittings, Frett work, polished timbers etc remain today. We have made a few embellishments with modern conveniences to enhance your visit.
Batlow House sits on ~ 1 acre of land 300 metres from the town’s CBD. The house backs onto a park with a bubbling brook that you can hear from the back patio. Features include

At this stage the fence are just okay – so care will need to be taken with your furry friends!
The house comes equipped with everything you will need for a home away from home including sheets, towels, pot and pans etc.
