The NSW Bringing Them Home Counsellors Forum Group are a statewide network comprised of approximately 20 counsellors that are hosted by Aboriginal Community Controlled Medical Services throughout NSW. The forum acknowledges the opportunities and challenges that Bringing Them Home Counsellors experience in performing their roles. The NSW Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council advocate and support this Network in Partnership with the Muru Marri Indigenous Health Unit in the School of Public Health and Community Medicine within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of New South Wales. These organisations facilitate the NSW Bringing Them Forum to provide professional development and foster mutual colleagial support amongst the Counsellors.
