With information - SEAR collects and distributes information on events, artists, venues and organisations involved in arts and cultural development within the region and beyond
With resources - SEAR can advise on where to go for funding and sponsorship, how to apply, how to implement and how to acquit
With project management - SEAR can advise on all aspects of project management including planning, consultation, contracts, copyright, insurance, budgeting, marketing, evaluation and documentation
With professional development - SEAR can advise and assist artists of the region to undertake professional development. SEAR already has and will continue to facilitate training and professional development sessions within the region
With research - SEAR will be developing a detailed profile of existing arts and cultural activity across the region to inform future initiatives and strategies for development
With cultural planning - SEAR will be working closely with the member Councils to develop appropriate and achievable cultural plans
With infrastructure development - SEAR is assisting in creating a stronger, more effective and more co-operative cultural infrastructure across the South East
With regional initiatives - when particular opportunities are identified, SEAR will undertake strategic regional initiatives to advance the cultural development of the region
